A two-terminal power switch with line-powered switch controller

An electrical power switch consisting of a two-terminal switch with a line-powered switching controlled mechanism. First and second shunt circuits are provided between the terminals of the power outlet with the first shunt circuit containing a power supply operating from current flowing through the switch when in the "ON" condition. This power supply can power a means to control the operative state of the switch while current flows through. When the switch is in the "OFF" state, a second power supply contained in the second shunt circuit provides power to the control means.
