PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a recording drive with which a write-once type optical disk with a program etc. recorded thereon is prepared, in a system wherein the write-once type optical disk with a program etc. recorded thereon is prepared with the use of a plurality of recording drives. SOLUTION: A recorded CD-R preparing system is provided with a plurality of CD-R drives. A picture browsing program is recorded on a CD-R 15 by the recorded CD-R preparing system and also a drive identification number for identifying the CD-R drive which is used in recording the picture browsing program is recorded by using a position corresponding to one second before the maximum recording possible time of the CD-R 15 as a recording starting position.
