PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life loading mechanism which is hardly damaged. SOLUTION: A tray 80 is reciprocated in an X axis direction between a first position in which an information recording medium 10 set in a predetermined position is completely housed in a frame and a second position in which the set information recording medium is completely exposed to the outside of the frame. A groove part 80c disposed in the tray to extend in the X axis direction is substantially brought into point or linear contact with bosses 54a and 54c for guiding the tray, among three bosses disposed at predetermined intervals in the X axis direction on the frame. Thus, sliding resistance between the tray and boss is reduced, and a load on the motor is reduced when the tray is driven by the motor. Since a force applied on each boss is dispersed when the external force is applied in the second position by the bosses 54a and 54c, the breakage of the boss and the separation of the tray from the frame are suppressed.
