PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device, and a program for controller protocol conversion and a method, a device, and a program for controlled equipment protocol conversion which are capable of alternating easily the controlled equipment to be controlled by the controller and of performing remote control of the controlled equipment from the controller. SOLUTION: The controller equipment protocol converter controls the controlled equipment controllable from outside via a network from the controller which is provided with an existing protocol and the controlled equipment protocol converter controls the controlled equipment by receiving the transmitted protocol data. The controller protocol converter 3 is equipped with an object selecting means 3a, a control requesting means 3b, and an external interface 3c, whereas the controlled equipment protocol converter 5 is equipped with an objectification processing means 5a, a control request processing means 5b, and an external interface 5c.
