PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission screen for preventing flickering of a video such as scintillation while minimizing a decrease in gain and resolution without an additive device even when using a projection tube with a small projection pupil. SOLUTION: A transmission screen 1 has a lens sheet or an optical sheet with an optical function such as light condensing or light diffusing having at least two of diffusing layers (diffusing parts) 1A, 1B, 1C separated in light transmission directions. Here, it is preferable that one of the two diffusing layers is provided on a surface of an light incident side of the lens sheet or optical sheet arranged at the position closest to a light source side, and another diffusing layer is provided on a surface of an light output side of the lens sheet or optical sheet arranged at the position closest to an observation side.
