PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing member which is suitably used for electric and communication equipment having a small liquid crystal panel used in a mobile communication terminal, remote controllers for a television receiver and a video player or the like, and a portable game terminal or the like. SOLUTION: The member is made by distributing tree shaped branching molecules which contain at least either one of the metallic group particles selected from metallic particles having mutually different refractive indexes with respect to transparent resin and alloy particles, in the transparent resin, or the member is also made by distributing tree shaped branching molecules in which metallic ions having mutually different refractive indexes with respect to the transparent resin are coordinated, in the resin.
