PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the learning progress speed of a target angle in a range changeover device for rotationally driving a range changeover shaft by a motor. SOLUTION: The target angle in the range is learned based on the angle of the range changeover shaft detected by a potentiometer in the state of being positioned by a detent mechanism. If the presence of an unlearned range in other ranges is determined in learning, the output characteristics of the actual potentiometer are estimated from the correlation between the learned target angle and the angle in the N-range where the mounting adjustment of the potentiometer is made, and estimation learning of the target angle in the unlearned range is carried out from the estimated output characteristics.
