PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inner and outer ring components of irrotational synchronous runout, and reduce motor irrotational synchronous runout when used in, for example, a spindle motor of an HDD. SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing, roundness of an inner diameter of an inner ring is≤1μm, and an angular component nz of the inner diameter is≤0.01% of an inside clearance ratio when the number of rolling elements is z and its integral multiple is n. The roundness of the inner diameter of the inner ring provided within 1μm is transferred to roundness of a raceway surface of the inner ring in assembly of the inner and outer rings.
