PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a pressure bearing plate, and a pressure bearing plate method that enable effective use of waste plastics, enable easy transportation to a work execution site and work execution, and enable stable work execution even on an irregular natural ground surface. SOLUTION: The member for a pressure bearing plate, which is used in an anchoring method for slope stabilization, comprises a shell of synthetic resin whose center has an anchor passing hole and into which cement concrete or mortar is to be poured, and a concrete reinforcing bar cage coupled to the shell and fixed in the shell at two or more places. The pressure bearing plate method passes an anchor member retained in natural ground through the anchor passing hole to temporarily fix the member for a pressure bearing plate, and pours cement concrete or mortar into the shell and cures it to form a pressure bearing plate, which is permanently fixed to the anchor member.
