PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully exhibit an effect of removing dental plaque by allowing efficient brushing of an interdental part with bristles inserted changing the bristling height and hardness. SOLUTION: A bristling surface of a bristling base is partitioned into a center strip region 16 with a width of 3 mm parallel with the axial direction of a toothbrush, and a pair of outer regions 17 on both sides, and the average bristling height of the center main bristles with the tips positioned on the center strip region 16 is made higher than the average bristling height of outer main bristles with the tips positioned on the outer regions 17.
