PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle alarm device of a simple system for allowing an occupant to easily recognize an alarm. SOLUTION: The vehicle alarm device comprises a camera 11 for detecting any obstacle around the vehicle, an image processor 12, a center lamp 20 disposed over the substantially overall width of a vehicle at the forward position of the vehicle from the occupant seating position, and an electronic control unit 13 which determines presence or absence of any danger of the vehicle based on the result of detection of the camera 11 and the image processor 12 and displays the center lamp 20 over the substantially overall width of the vehicle if it determines that the vehicle is in a dangerous condition.
