SYSTEM FOR MANAGING COMMODITY TRANSACTION IN FOREIGN CURRENCY

There is provided a system for managing commodity transaction in foreign currency capable of selecting and managing a transaction before appropriation requiring management of exchange risk, flexibly coping with the condition modification about the transaction to be managed before appropriation, and time-series management such as balance check at a particular time point in the past. Without distinction of the transaction type such as the in-foreign-currency transaction and hedge transaction, the system stores transaction information generated from all the transactions on which a cash flow can be calculated in a transaction database and manages the transaction information by using the cash flow as the least common denominator of all the transactions. When an arbitrary condition such as a particular date to grasp the exchange risk is specified, whatever the transaction type may be, transaction information required for the condition is selected, a cash flow is calculated, and the capital position under the specified condition is calculated so as to grasp the exchange risk.
