Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines comprises a housing (1) containing a piston-shaped valve needle (12) that is longitudinally displaced in a bore (10) and controls with its combustion chamber-end the opening of at least one injection opening (22). The valve needle is guided in a guide section (112) in the bore facing away from the combustion chamber and protrudes with the end facing away from the combustion chamber into a control chamber (27) formed in the housing and connected via at least one inlet throttle (25) to a high pressure region (16) in the housing where the fuel lies under injection pressure. The fuel injection valve also comprises a control valve (33) controlling the opening of an outlet throttle (30) connecting the control chamber to an oil leakage chamber (36) in the housing.
