PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and easily regenerate a desired cell or tissue, especially a method for regenerating an insulin-producing cell for the treatment of the patient of diabetes.

SOLUTION: A tissue or a cell derived from an organ A is regenerated by using tissues or cells derived from two different kinds of organs A and B by contacting the tissue or cell derived from the organ A with the tissue or cell derived from the organ B.
