<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of data transfer interruption from a portable terminal due to memory deficiency of a communication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In an HT (handy terminal) system α being a communication system including: portable terminals HT 1A to 1F for storing data entered by users; communication apparatuses IOBOX 2A to 2D for receiving the data from the portable terminals HT 1A to 1F and storing the data into cache memories 2bA to 2bE; and a host computer 3 for integrating the data from the communication apparatuses IOBOX 2A to 2D through communication cables 4,5, the communication apparatus IOBOX 2A acquires the consumed amount of the cache memories 2bA to 2bE of the communication apparatuses IOBOX 2A to 2D, transmits a display command in accordance with the consumed amount of the cache memory to the communication apparatuses IOBOX 2A to 2D, and each of the communication apparatuses IOBOX 2A to 2D displays the consumed state of the cache memory in response to the display command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
