PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the bus duct housing and the bus duct assembling method making work of assembly simplified and making work of manufacture efficient, that is, shortening a time of work, further reducing a cost of manufacture. SOLUTION: In the bus duct housing binding a pair of housing half units 21, having a storage recessed part 22, flange pars 23,24, and reinforcing parts 25,26 additionally formed in the end edge of these flange parts, by connecting the flange parts to each other, the flange parts 23,24 are connected to each other so as to be performed with the housing half unit 21 automatically positioned to each other in a condition connecting the flange parts and in this positioning condition by a rivet binding the connected flange parts without preliminary work of drilling an insertion hole.
