PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible board assembly suitable for the magnetic disk device of a chip-on carriage or a chip-on suspension. SOLUTION: In the flexible board assembly 8 provided with a reinforcing plate 35 and a flexible board 34 stuck to be stacked on one surface of the reinforcing plate 35, the flexible board 34 is formed not into a shape fully overlapping the reinforcing plate 35 but into a shape to expose a minimum necessary part for sticking a management label 33.
