PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine warming-up device E for providing excellent warming-up performance and having a small occupation space of equipment. SOLUTION: This engine warming-up device E is provided with an adsorbent heat exchanger 3 which passes through a cooling water pipe 1, lets an exhaust pipe 2 abut, seals adsorbent 33 inside it, and lets fins 32 cluster together and a connection pipe 4 which connects the adsorbent heat exchanger 3 with refrigeration cycle 6 of a vehicle to perform reciprocation of refrigerant 61 and is provided with an opening and closing valve 41 on the halfway. When an engine is started, the opening and closing valve 41 is opened, and the refrigerant 61 is led into the adsorbent heat exchanger 3 from the refrigeration cycle 6 to absorb the refrigerant 61 by the adsorbent 33. When the engine is sufficiently warmed up and the refrigerant 61 is desorbed from the the adsorbent 33 and returns into the refrigeration cycle 6 through the connection pipe 4, the opening and closing valve 41 is closed.
