PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational resistance force generating mechanism capable of generating stable rotational resistance force with less components, and suitable for reducing the thickness. SOLUTION: A shaft part is provided at the side of a solid body. A cylindrical part 31 into which the shaft part is inserted is provided at the side of a body of rotation. A plurality of domed convex parts 31b is formed on an end face of the cylindrical part 31 at prescribed intervals in a circumferential direction. The end face level of the shaft part 23 inserted into the cylindrical part 31 is made higher than the end face level of the cylindrical part 31 and lower than the apex level of the plurality of the convex parts 31b. A flexible resin washer 24 is fixed on the end face of the shaft part 23 with a screw 25. Since the resin washer 25 comes in point contact with the plurality of the convex parts 31b of the end face of the cylindrical part 31 instead of coming in face contact with the end face of the cylindrical part 31, a contact area can be reduced and adjustment of the contact area can be easily and extensively carried out.
