PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small litter collecting machine that is economical, is handy even in a limited space, and reduces the frequency of replacement of and discharge from a storage bag by efficiently shredding litter, in view of limited partial collection with a large machine of litter, such as fallen leaves, which can be scattered not only under trees but also over a wide area and be blown to corners and limited spaces of structures. SOLUTION: The litter collecting machine is equipped, on a traveling body 2 capable of simple powered travel, such as a small lawn mower, with a collector 4 comprising a fan 43 horizontally rotated to suck litter from a ground surface, a shredding part 50 having one or more pairs of cutting blades 56 revolved coaxially with the fan 43 and positioned near on an air discharge side and fixed resisters 52 along the revolution planes, and a fan case 42 forming an air duct.
