PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify/lighten a fixing structure of a headrest for preventing whiplash and to adjust level of the headrest. SOLUTION: This headrest 3 provided to upper part of a backrest seat 2 in the rear of back of a sitting person is forward turned by backward turning of a movable frame 10 inside the backrest seat 2 and the head part of the sitting person is supported. The movable frame 10 consists of a headrest fixing rod 5 rotatably provided to a backrest frame 6 of the backrest seat 2 by a headrest fixing rotation shaft 7 and into which a right and left pair of pillars 4 of the headrest 3 penetrates so as to freely move up and down, and a vertical moving body 9 freely moving up and down for the headrest fixing rod 5 by a vertically adjusting motor 11 and being fixed on lower part of the pillars 4.
