PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of treating food waste efficiently and rapidly. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a charging port 43 for receiving food to be packaged, a package discharge port 42c for discharging a separated packaged substance to the outside, a separation tank 42 having one or more food discharge ports for discharging separated food to the outside, the rotary shaft 44 horizontally arranged in the separation tank 42 in a freely rotatable centering the axis thereof, one or more first blades 46 and 48 vertically provided to the outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft 44 so that the longitudinal direction thereof has an inclination first blade bodies 46 and 48 with respect to the axis, one or more second blades 47 and 49 fixed to the rotary shaft 44 or the like so as to laterally cross first blade bodies 46 and 48 and a drive means 53 for rotationally driving the rotary shaft 44 centering the axis thereof.
