PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing contamination oil in waste clay-containing soil and equipment for washing contamination oil therein which enables the secure separation into the washed waste clay-containing soil and the waste oil by washing the waste clay-containing soil contaminated with oil and can achieve the cost reduction and the prevention of secondary contamination by appropriately treating each of the washed waste clay-containing soil and the waste oil. SOLUTION: In the method for washing contamination oil in waste clay-containing soil and the equipment 1 for washing contamination oil therein, the waste clay-containing soil 5 is charged into a washing tank 2 in which the washing water 6 is filled, subsequently, the waste clay-containing soil 5 is stirred and washed while supplementing the washing water 6 and an oil layer 10 floated on the washing tank 2 is overflowed into an oil tank 3 adjacent to the washing tank 2. In the method for washing contamination oil, the mud water 12 in the washing tank is removed outside the tank, and the washed waste clay-containing soil and the waste oil are separated thereafter.
