PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a legless chair used in the worship in a temple allowing a user to sit on comfortably and in a stable sitting posture and to easily stand up because of the backrest, and capable of being piled up when stored. SOLUTION: A base seat 1 is supported by a box-shaped leg 2 consisting of a front panel 5, both side panels 6 and 6, and a rear panel. A large opening 8 is formed on the front panel 5, and auxiliary panels 3 and 3 with grip holes 10 and 10 and the backrest 4 are mounted on the base seat 1. The auxiliary panels 3 and 3 have mounting spaces 11 and 14 for mounting another leg 2 on side edges 7 and 7, front edges 13 and 13 and rear edge of the base seat 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
