PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material excellent in silver tone and raw stock preservability while having high sensitivity and low fog and excellent in stability of a silver image after heat development, and to provide a image recording method therefor and an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material comprising a photosensitive emulsion comprising non-photosensitive silver aliphatic-carboxylate grains and photosensitive silver halide grains, a silver ion reducing agent, a binder and a crosslinker, a compound represented by formula (A) and at least one of the polyhalogen compounds represented by formula (B) are contained and the coating weight of silver is 0.5-1.5 g/m2.
