PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water and water mixture faucet mechanically operating an on-off valve capable of easily distinguishing an operating means for stopping/delivering water from a shower nozzle and a faucet and which is easy to operate by either right or left hand in a light operating feeling. SOLUTION: The hot water and water mixture faucet connected to a hot water supply pipe and a water supply pipe has a temperature adjusting valve mixing hot water supplied from a hot water pipe and water supplied from a water pipe in an appropriate temperature, a temperature adjusting means for adjusting the temperature adjusting valve, an on-off valve for delivering/stopping water from a shower nozzle, an opening/closing means by a push button operation for operating each on-off valve. At least the upper part of the hot water and water mixture faucet is covered with a heat insulation cover and at least the opening/closing operation means is disposed substantially on the same face with the heat insulation cover.
