<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degradation simulator simply simulating a target degradation state of an oxygen sensor, particularly a degradation simulator for a whole range air/fuel ratio sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This degradation simulator 13 of oxygen sensor has an oxygen concentration cell 4 and an oxygen pumping cell 1, and measures a concentration of oxygen in measuring object gases based on an oxygen pumping current Ip flowing in the oxygen pumping cell. The simulator is provided with signal processing parts 23, 24 and 25 outputting signals formed by varying signals expressing the oxygen pumping current Ip outputted by a controller 21; element resistance correction means 26 and 27 outputting, to an ECU22, the signals formed by detecting signals expressing element resistance Rpvs of the oxygen concentration cell 4 and varying the signals according to the degradation target; and a pseudo sensor 29 containing an oxygen pumping current setting means 28 outputting to the ECU22, the signals outputted from the signal processing parts as they are or varying them according to the degradation target. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
