<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system on a product information history for storing and retaining history information with high reliability and transparency and disclosing the history information according to a request from a third party. <P>SOLUTION: A data center 10 managed by a different institution from a producer, producers' terminals 20a-20d and consumers' terminals 30 are connected together via a network 1. Whenever producing products, the producers' terminals register identification information of the products and product information showing the contents of the products to food database. In the case of processed products, identification information of materials to be used is also added to the product information.
