<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device provided with a low-cost display panel which can be made finer by providing a light emission driving circuit capable of realizing good light emission characteristics while applying an already established low-cost manufacturing technique and a driving control method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light emission driving circuit is provided with thin-film transistors (TFTs) Tr1 and Tr2 which perform the control to pass writing current having a prescribed current value to a TFT Tr3, TFTs Tr4 and Tr5 which perform the control to pass the carrier current having the current value of the prescribed number of times of the writing current according to the flow of the writing current, a capacitor which is annexed to the TFT Tr3 and accumulates the charges meeting the writing current, the TFT Tr3 which performs the control to supply the driving current having the current value equal to the current value of the writing current to light emitting elements in accordance with the charges accumulated in the capacitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
