DATA TRANSFER CONTROLLER, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND POWER SWITCHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer controller which reduces unnecessary power consumption in the case of data transfer between peripheral devices of an OTG standard, for example, and to provide an electronic apparatus, and a power switching method.

SOLUTION: A state controller 112 of a data transfer processing circuit 110 switches the operation of a device A or a device B to make it operate as a host or a peripheral device in accordance with state transition. A power feed switch circuit 130 connects a power circuit 120 to a VBUS line on the basis of the transition of the state controller 112. A power switching circuit 142 of a power control circuit 140 connects the VBUS line or the power circuit 120 to the data transfer processing circuit 110 by a switching signal PWRSEL. The switching signal PWRSEL is generated on the basis of an output signal of a changeover switch circuit 144 or a control signal from the state controller 112.
