PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the protective structure of a locking device for a glass sliding door in which a glass surface plate is broken partially from the outside, the stretching of a hand to the locking device is prevented and the determent of a criminal act is attained. SOLUTION: Protective plate materials 8 surrounding the locking device for the sliding doors and having protective plates 6a composed of a rigid plate body such as a metal plate, a plastic board or the like so as to run parallel with indoor side faces of the glass surface plates 7 constituting the sliding doors are installed to stiles configuring the outer frame of the double sliding type glass sliding doors, and the access of a criminal to the locking device by breaking the glass surface plates 7 from the outdoors is prevented.
