PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a slat in the winding of a shutter curtain by putting the nonuniform biased winding of the shutter curtain in order, to reduce the microvibration of the slat in the winding-off of the shutter curtain; to reduce microvibration and and a generated sound which are caused by contact between the slat and a guide rail due to the tilting of the slat near a hanging base, and to reduce an operating physical force. SOLUTION: In a shutter device, the shutter curtain 1 which is wound around a wind-up drum 2 descends while being guided by the guide rail 3 so as to close the opening of a building; the slat 3 which constitutes the shutter curtain 1 comprises a slat body 40 and interlock parts 41 and 42 which are integrally formed above and below the slat body 40; and protrusions 46 and 47 which are high enough to reach at least a virtual line connecting base ends of the upper and lower interlock parts 41 and 42 are integrally formed at both longitudinal ends of the slat body 40 in such a manner as to be located in an expanded part 30 at the upper end of the guide rail 3.
