PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rapid heater for vehicles which is integrated with a space heater for vehicles. SOLUTION: An engine cooling water circuit 3 is rapidly heated by a magnetron 5. An output antenna 25 of the magnetron is brought into contact with cooling water flowing in the cooling water circuit, or the electromagnetic wave output from the output antenna 25 is brought into contact with cooling water via a wave guide 41. Sensors 29 and 30 to detect the cooling water temperature or the in-cabin temperature below a predetermined value, and a switch 27 to connect the magnetron to a power source 26 according to the detected temperature are further provided, and an auxiliary heater such as a hot water thermos tank 42 or the like is still further provided to maintain the temperature of the rapidly heated cooling water.
