PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch operation assisting tool allowing a child or a physically weak person to easily perform on/off operations of an on/off switch part. SOLUTION: The assisting tool comprises an assisting tool body 1 attached to an embedded switch S provided on a wall surface W. The tool further comprises an operation rocking member 4 attached to the assisting tool body 1 to be rockable about the vertical axis. The rocking member 4 has a contact part for contacting so as to turn on and off the on/off switch part S1 of the embedded switch S, and also has pressing parts 3 provided at right and left ends.
