PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally new oxetane compound and to provide an active energy ray curing type ink comprising the structurally new oxetane compound and having good letter quality and excellent adhesion to recording media. SOLUTION: The oxetane compound is characterized in that the compound is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 and R2 denote each a hydrogen atom or an organic group; and R3 to R6 denote each a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, with the proviso that at least one of R3 to R6 is an alkyl group).
