<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater which can sufficiently remove radiation heat and be manufactured with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric heater as an auxiliary heater for a car, a damper resistor and a control unit are built in one structural unit. A power transistor 19 directly fitted to a printed circuit board 10 is provided to control a heating element 2 of the damper resistor. In order to effectively eliminate radiation heat from the power transistor 19, the power transistor 19 is brought into contact with a cooling element via an aperture 23 formed in the printed circuit board 10 on the lower side. Further, in order to simplify the manufacture, the cooling element comprises two components, i.e., a heat transmission element 24 which is inserted in the aperture 23 in the printed circuit board 10 and provided with a small thermal mass, and a cooling body 25 coupled with the heat transmission element 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
