SOUND LEVEL ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound level adjustment system 21 wherein sound volume adjustment of a talker and sound volume adjustment of a loudspeaking sound with respect to a dark noise are optimally performed to enhance the articulation of a reproduction sound. SOLUTION: The sound level adjustment system 21 is provided with: a talker microphone MIC 1; at least a second microphone MIC 2 provided in a loudspeaking sound field; an automatic sound volume adjustment means for selectively and sequentially receiving either of the talker sound and the loudspeaking sound filed obtained from the talker microphone MIC 1 and the second microphone MIC 2; an automatic sound volume adjustment means 25 for adjusting a talker sound level at the reception of the talker sound on one hand, and furthermore adjusting the adjusted talker sound level into a sound volume in response to a dark noise level at reception of the loudspeaking sound; and a speaker 9 for receiving a sound volume output signal with the loudspeaking level from the automatic sound volume adjustment means 25.
