PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable dynamo-electric machine capable of lowering temperature rises in a rotation detector and temperatures of elements on a rotation detector substrate by restraining heat transfer caloric value on the rotation detector section. SOLUTION: In this dynamo-electric machine which has the rotation detector 11 at the axial end of a rotating shaft 4 of the dynamo-electric machine, the inner surface of a frame inner tube of a double tube structure, consisting of a frame outer tube 13 and the frame inner tube 14 around the rotating shaft is inward sheathed with a stator 1 of the dynamo-electric machine, and an end of the frame inner tube on the same side as the side, where a member continuous to the rotation detector 11 is brought into contact to be fixed, is set as a free end. The frame outer tube 13 and the frame inner tube 14 on the opposite side to the side where the member continuous to the rotation detector 11 is brought into contact with each other to be fixed.
