PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane heating element reducing wear of a conductor and enhancing bending strength by relaxing bending in an acute angle of the conductor even when the heating element is bent. SOLUTION: This plane heating element uses a plane warmer formed by arranging on a substrate a heating element 6 constituted by braiding threads 5 comprising conductors 4 and aromatic polyamide fibers. By constituting the heating element with a braid of the conductors and the threads of the aromatic polyamide fibers, tensile strength is increased compared with a heating element comprising only the conductors, wear of the conductors is suppressed by the action of the threads as a buffer material to the friction of the conductors even when a load is applied to the heating elements by the load in seating, cause of disconnection can be removed by suppressing bending in the acute angle of the conductor for example even when the heating element is bent, and bending strength is enhanced.
