PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch to operation for giving priority to dehumidifying function from normal operation during cooling operation based on sleep mode control and prevent stability of control from being lost even when performing the operation for giving priority to dehumidification. SOLUTION: When inverter frequency is below 13Hz and a condition in which a difference between air conditioning target temperature and a room temperature detection value is below a predetermined value or a condition in which indoor detection humidity exceeds set humidity continues for a predetermined time or more, a sleep mode control means 12 brings an electronic expansion valve 4 into a condition in which it is excessively restricted by restricting it greatly and further. The sleep mode control means 12 inputs detected heat exchange temperatures Tc1, Tc2 from heat exchange temperature detectors 16, 17 attached to an inlet side and an outlet side of a second indoor heat exchanger 7, respectively, to control opening of the electronic expansion valve 4 based on the difference between these temperatures Tc2 and Tc1.
