摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient welding strength in a lap weld zone. SOLUTION: A web steel plate for a bridge girder is structured by lap-welding the side ends of the two web steel plates 1 in which flange steel plates 2, 3 are each welded to the upper and lower ends adjacent to each other. In the upper and lower ends of each side end of the two web steel plates 1, there is each formed a notch 1a of a nearly recessed circular arc shape. In one web steel plate 1, this notch 1a of the side end is situated nearer to the center vertically and linked to the linear side edge 1b extending vertically. In the other web steel plate 1, the notch 1a is similarly situated nearer to the center vertically and linked to the linear side edge 1b extending vertically through the linear end edge 1c extending horizontally. Further, in the linear side edge 1b extending vertically to the one web steel plate 1, in the arrangement crossed by the horizontally extending linear end edge 1c of the other web steel plate 1, these web steel plates 1 are superposed in the side ends and welded to each other in the circumference.
