<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of defective printing. <P>SOLUTION: The developing apparatus is provided with a toner carrier, a 1st toner supply member and a guiding member for forming the flow of the toner 24 toward a valley area AR1 formed between the toner carrier and the 1st toner supply member. The toner 24 intending to remain in the valley area AR1 is pushed out of the valley area AR1 through the flow of the toner 24 formed by the guiding member toward the valley area AR1, and then, the toner is forcibly recirculated. Since the toner 24 is prevented from remaining in the valley area AR1, the deteriorated toner 24 and the foreign matter are prevented from being sandwiched between the toner carrier and a developing blade 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
