<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can maintain high-definition picture quality even if the temperature of an induction photoreceptor which is usable in negative electrostatic charging rises during repetitive use. <P>SOLUTION: The photoreceptor is an induction photoreceptor which has a single-layer type photosensitive layer on a conductive base and is used in negative electrostatic charging. A drum heater composed of a surface type heating body is mounted inside the photoreceptor having in the photosensitive layer an azo pigment, positive hole transporting molecules, and a binding resin represented by a general formula (1), and constant temperature is maintained on the photoreceptor to realize a high-definition image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
