<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize light from a discharge lamp. <P>SOLUTION: Lead wires 22, 32 are arranged between two straight lines L, L formed by connecting nearly the center of a light-emitting part 5 and both ends of a mounting leg part 90 in a cross section nearly perpendicular to the lead wires 22, 32. As a result, a shadow formed by the lead wires 22, 32 can be contained within the shadow already existing formed by the mounting leg 90. Thereby, the lamp for vehicle can prevent another shadow by the lead wires 22, 32 from being formed on a reflecting face 80 of a reflector 8 apart from the shadow by the mounting leg 90, and to that extent, the light from the discharge lamp B can be effectively utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
