PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a deodorizing device by making effective use of space over a car. SOLUTION: A ventilation device 10 which changes air in a car 1 via an opening 9 provided in the ceiling part 8 of the car 1 is provided on the car 1 which rises and falls in an elevator shaft 2 while carrying passengers. The deodorizing device 11 which produces deodorant is provided independently of the ventilation device 10. A flexible tube 12 communicates the deodorizing device 11 with the ventilation device 10. Using the flexible tube 12, the deodorizing device 11 is installed in a certain position on the car 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
