PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of classifying writings capable of improving the precision of writing classification and fuling extraction by preventing an objective writing from being omitted in classification and extraction, by assigning a range in a rule for specifying a position of word information serving as significant point in the writing, and by conducting the classification and feeling extraction only using rule matching. SOLUTION: The word information such as a result analyzed by configuration element analyzing processing for word-dividing a character, a character string, symbols and a text in the writing is matched to the rule by the assigned range where an appearance position is limited, to narrow and classify the writing, and feeling intended with the writing is also discriminated without reading the writing, using a similar rule system.
