PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a temperature history by producing an irreversible change when a display body is exposed to a specified temperature, and facilitate industrial production. SOLUTION: In this temperature history display body, a layer containing substance having a melting point at a specified temperature (hereafter referred to as temperature sensing substance) is formed on a support body, a layer partially formed as an image is formed on the layer, and an adhesion layer and a transparent protective layer are formed on the layer. In this method of manufacturing the display body, the formation of the layers of the temperature history display medium is performed under the environment at a temperature of the melting point of the temperature sensing substance or below. When the display body is exposed to an environment at a temperature exceeding the melting point of the temperature sensing substance, the temperature sensing layer is molten, and the irreversible change occurs in the image layer.
