PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auger type ice machine capable of preventing rising of cost. SOLUTION: The auger type ice machine 1 is provided with a refrigeration casing 18 having an auger 15 at the inside; and a geared motor 2 for rotating/driving the auger 15. A control circuit C of the auger type ice machine 1 is provided with a first memory C1 used for setting a control voltage threshold value for controlling the geared motor 2 and memorizing designated voltage value at two points; and a first calculation means C2 for calculating the control voltage threshold value based on the designated voltage value memorized in the first memory C1. The control circuit C is provided with a second memory C3 used for setting a control current threshold value for controlling the geared motor 2 and memorizing the designated current value at two points; and a second calculation means C4 for calculating the control current threshold value based on the designated current value memorized in the second memory C3.
