PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for simply conveying a fluid by an underwater pump in which the pump is arranged on a land and which sucks and pressurizes the fluid via a suction tube submerged in the conveying fluid to convey the fluid to a predetermined position. SOLUTION: The simple apparatus for conveying the fluid sucks and pressurizes the fluid such as, muddy water/sludge/fluid industrial waste, etc. and conveys the fluid by the pump. This apparatus includes the underwater pump having at least a pump unit covered with a housing and arranged on the land, a suction hose having a check valve mounted at one end and the other end connected to the housing, and a fluid supply valve for supplying the fluid into the housing and the hose.
