COATED BASE PAPER IN COATED PAPER FOR ROLL-FED OFFSET PRINTING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated base paper in coated paper for roll-fed offset printing imparting dispersion in directionality of fiber shrinkage during drying after the roll-fed offset printing and having excellent suppressing effects on formation of fine wrinkles formed during drying after printing and to provide a method for producing the base paper. SOLUTION: The coated base paper in the coated paper for the roll-fed offset printing having at least one or more coated layers on one or both surfaces is used. The coated base paper in the coated paper for roll-fed offset printing has 5-20°absolute value (¾θa-θb¾) of a difference between the orientation angle (θa) on the right side and the orientation angle (θb) on the back side of the base paper. Production is carried out by using a wire shaking apparatus under conditions of 20-80 shaking intensity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
